If you've changed the email of account that has the CD key registered to it (through account settings on Origin's website), log in with the updated email (and password if you've changed it). Then you must be logging in with an account that's different to the one you originally registered the CD key to. I agree this should be removed because its such a hassle to even play the game. nah there was an exploit where people would get ea play and use the cd keys you get on steam to get permanent copies on origin. When I went in-game though, I couldnt launch Multiplayer (not that I even expected there to be servers), it asked me to log in with EA Account, which I did, but then it asked for a Serial Key, which I cannot find. You must fully purchase the game to get the keys for it. I recently installed BadCo 2 via EA Play on steam, where it is free. man, it says that i already used it tho, so it doesnt work for me. EA Play for this game does not exist on Steam right now, or never did. IF that doesnt work VERIFY GAME CONTENT through steam. close the window and try to log in again. Not sure if it will solve this issue in particular, but running Steam as an admin is a good idea in general as it's kind of a blanket cover "fix-all-issues" solution to a lot of technical issues. Enter the product code through that and launch Bad Company 2 through Steam again. After clicking that there should be Add A Game at the top right-hand of the webpage.
